I don't know how many of you grow 'Slabber's seedling' but I bought it several years ago from Fernwood Nursery because it was supposed to be pink. The first year I saw nothing resembling pink but since then it has showed pink as a mature specimen. Oddly the pink is mostly on the very mature, almost senescing leaves at the edge of the rosette. These turn a very bright pink and are raised up in the clump, making for a different effect. This year I had blooms on it and made a bunch of crosses to other pinkish plants. It is a very good grower and shows no winter damage, two other things I favor as a parent.
