I went outside this morning and pulled out all but 3 tomato plants. I dug up an ornamental pepper plant and put it in a pot. I harvested some of my ornamental cucumbers and picked an ear or two of Indian Corn. Then I made a basket for a fund raiser that we are going to today for the K-9 Unit, I think for Prairie du Chien, WI. We belong to the Eagle's Club and they are having a basket silent auction and BBQ ribs feed and other stuff for the fund raiser today. Here are pictures of the one basket from different sides.
The center is the ornamental pepper plant that I got from winter sowing seeds given to my by Keith
@keithp2012. The two lighter corn were also from corn seed that I got from Keith. I just picked up these 2 stones (Forgive and Imagine) for a dime each at a garage sale I went to yesterday.
The pumpkin I grew from seed packets. The Jack-Be-Little pumpkin were also grown from seed packets. The Ornamental Cucumbers I grew from seed that I had saved from some that I grew several years ago. They sure are fun to grow and decorate with. Since these pictures were taken, I changed things up a bit and added more small pumpkin and ornamental cucumbers then wrapped it with siran wrap. That was the hardest thing about the whole basket.
