kevinbenoit said:Hi I was wondering if any of you guys have any ideas about winter gardening. I need a project to do this winter and I have bought some pots and I have a well lit window. I'm interested in fruit trees from seed and also veggies Smiling I have already planted two orange seeds that I intend to keep potted as small trees. What are you guys doing this winter Hurray! ?

Can't help you the fruit trees (my sadly greatest failures), but I have some suggestions. Get a few of those 18" x 5" by 6" deep planter pots at Walmart (cheap) and fill with standard pottig soil (I mix my own - its cheaper) , plant fancy greens like arugula, mesclun, and bok choy seeds. They don't need much light, they can really spice up a good tossed salad, and you get a WHOLE LOT of seeds in a packet.
