I planted three 3' diameter circles of ajuga 25 years ago in shade. It has suddenly spread into my lawn, where it is green rather than purple leaved. in the sunnier spots.

My question: Does the spread of the ajuga tell me something about the lawn? And should I worry about it taking over? I have to admit they seem akin to dandelions in spread.
