Ahhh, the hazards of unnecessary repotting, especially when done improperly. If the original rootball is still intact, then remove it and all of the soil that was added and move the plant back to its original pot or one that is the same size.

BTW, "moisture control" potting mix does not mean what you think it does. It simply means they have added chemical substances that retain water even longer than normal. Given the fact that over watering is the most common problem for most people, adding something to keep the soil moist even longer is counter-productive.
