Dear Sharon, in answer to your question about the 11 year old he is underage to be prosecuted. So therefore if his parents are that way inclined as to his stealing they know that, so he can get away with it, and so can they!
The saddest sight Sharon last night was a book shop that is also an iconic building, I was heartbroken to see that. For they broke in, stole the computers and thinking the books were worthless set fire to the building, it set the sky ablaze and could be seen for miles. The actual shop was built in 1865, but some of the books go back to the early 1700s and earlier. Why do this? The owners family have run this shop since 1865, he now has lost everything.
Lucy they have wrecked the shops in our area, anything that could be stolen was stolen. Just glass and burnt out cars now, and a very dazed community.
My friend who publishes and prints things for people lost everything, his computers and everything else were taken and then they set it on fire.
It has just been on the News that it has spread further and Manchester is now ablaze as well.
All this caused by 7 people on the internet, who they have now arrested. I cannot put on here what I would do to them.
Cherie it looks like a war zone outside, and I am used to war zones so don't worry about me.
I am however proud that I grow a lot of my own vegetables and have two freezers. For my elderly neighbours are too scared to go out, so I have been cooking for them.
They had vegetable soup today and my homemade bread, which is better than nothing, especially as the shops do not have anything to sell or what is left of them.
Love to all.
Neil.
