I have no idea what this plant is. My neighbor on the other side of the fence has no idea. I've taken leaves to many local nurseries and none of them know.
Background: It was here when I bought my house in '98. (That's
1998.) It hasn't done much. Maybe spread just a little. It's evergreen. Doesn't flower. Leaves are not as stiff as they look in the picture, or even in person. Gave up on trying to dig it but could try harder. And it is growing where nothing else fears to grow.
Any ideas?
