I would try planting in a pot and putting it outside in the ground or planting outside in late winter, as soon as you have unfrozen ground to cover seeds. Also, my experience is put it where you want it as moving is impossible; very deep roots. Cutting to get rid of the plant goes on for several years. I love my perennial sweet peas.
