I got 'Blackthorne' from G. Wild in April here in zone 7A. I had my first scape 6/8 after it had been in the ground 68 days and the first bloom on 6/27. It performed well with beautiful blooms here. I'm looking forward to seeing it grow into maturity. The image below is from 7/9 as 'Blackthorne' shot up single blooms for about 3 weeks as a first year cultivar that started with a very small fan.
