I transplanted my plant to a raised bed, in October 2015, which unfortunately is receiving some shade throughout the day. Siloam Double Classic didn't seem to miss a beat from the transplant. It is probably my only "clump" to date of a registered cultivar.

The foliage continues to look wonderful. This is one of the many reasons I love this daylily! It has increased nicely for me. Even with more shade in it's current location, I did see a nice increase in the number of scapes and blooms ... as I expected .... given that this cultivar has increased from 2 fans (in May 2015) to the current number of 13 fans (Fall 2016). The fans are close together with short compact leaves. Makes a lovely foliage clump!

This cultivar is listed as a dormant. I do not believe that is accurate. I believe that it is probably a semi-evergreen or maybe even an evergreen because it seems to grow year round here in Florida.

I did not keep stats on most of my plants this year, but I will say that the blooms I got on SDC were as beautiful and perfect as always and from just guessing, were right on target with the AHS database description! I've yet to see a single bloom, as all have been doubles. This is a keeper in my garden and one I hope to share with family and friends locally because the foliage always looks so good. Definitely shows rust resistance! Big Grin Thumbs up
