I acquired 8 fans of Tylwyth Teg from Hemlady-Cindy (above) in May 2016. (Sorry to hear that dividing it made it a no-bloomer this year for Cindy. Sad )

On the other hand, the transplant to a pot here in central Florida must have been a good move for it, because it not only bounced back quickly but also began blooming for me on July 10, 2016. The foliage is thin and clumped tightly together for a compact look. The blooms were much prettier in real life than any photos I have seen. I guess it is hard to capture the beauty of some cultivars in a photograph. It is now almost October 2016 and I counted just 7 fans instead of the original 8, so ... But the plant looks very healthy and happy so who knows ....

It does have a scent which I noticed right away when putting my face near it. I don't really have many scented cultivars, so was very surprised to get a subtle whiff of this one. I did not get stats on this one, but next year hope to do stats for all my daylilies.

It will be transplanted into a raised bed this Fall 2016.
