Peppers are doing great this year. Some plants are over 5 feet tall.
Best bells are Big Bertha and Quadrato di Asti Rosso. B.B. is huge, but the Q.d.A.R. is just the right size for stuffing.
Of the mildly hot ones, Anaheim is producing the most.
Early Jalepeno is the only hot pepper I'm growing this year, but I don't need another. One plant has pumped out 48 fruit already with more coming.
Sweet Pickle ornamentals are very pretty.
I started half the sweet pepper crop late in an effort to extend the season and they are just beginning to ripen.
The fridge is already crammed with frozen pepper strips of all degrees of heat so I'm giving lots away to friends and the local food bank.
