Well, Patty and I had a nice time at the Tropiflora Fall Festival, and each came home with some nice new plants. I only bought two orchids, both bare root divisions so we'll see . . . V. Boonyarit Moonlight and a L. anceps 'Barkeriana' came home with me and are now getting a nice rainwater soak thanks to Mother Nature. Now, to find a space to hang them . . . everyone has grown over the summer to where it's getting a little crowded out there in the cage.

Sorry no pictures today, as I hadn't realized my phone was low on battery . . Rolling my eyes. Rafael did have some spectacular plants in bloom - Lindsey did you buy a plant with the name 'Roman Holiday' in it when you were here last? He had several plants of that one in bloom and just wonderful - both fragrant and large, lush and lovely flower stems. I'm going to get one when we go to his Open House in November - maybe they'll be charging less for a plant not in bloom.

I also bought a neat Brom, a little Pachypodium for $2 (Yikes, it's prickly and bit me once already!) and the coolest epicactus with fronds ? that twist up like corkscrews. When it stops raining I will get pics.
