This year, I cut off 6 long canes from my favorite no ID dens to see if I can force them to make babies. I just soaked the canes in the water with or without food for 30 minutes to an hour almost everyday. So far I harvested 6 babies already and they are now mixed in with my orchid planters or attached to my plumeria trees. Today I found four more... I wait till they are about 3 inches tall with strong roots before cutting them off from the cane. I'm expecting the babies to bloom in 2 years.
