I got to type to and know Sharon when she asked about my avatar and we got to talking about paintings. I was very honored that she shared with me her thoughts regarding what motivated her and what she achieved thru her painting. I hope you all don't mind that I post some of what she shared with me so that I can share back with you, Becky, and all of you that loved Sharon as I have loved Sharon.

I am not a realist as is your husband, but more representational realism, with a touch of the abstract. I paint to create feelings, emotions, reactions and I paint also those things I feel inside. I guess I paint emotions, more that what I see in front of me. And most of the time, I'm inspired by things of nature. Here are a few, most have been sold.
