Some of my vines are flowering. These flowers come off the old wood. They are up very high in a tree. But soon the blooms will be closer to the ground. They are quite large and beautiful.

This following photo is one of my butterfly plantings: Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Vine . I have several plants for many different species of butterfly. I must do them all up for the garden wildlife thread.



I supply the neighborhood with passionfruits. I think they are Hawaiian Purples.

I thought this Callistemon was dead. I do no know what it is. It came with the house.

The noid hippies have blooms everywhere. There are so many different looking ones feral across the island.

Strawberries have runners throughout my garden. They can be invasive as mints but yummier.

The Koels (a large migratory cuckoo) always arrive when Mangroveberry (Psidium longipes) are flowering. And they leave in March after eating must of its fruit before I can get to it.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
