Well, I finally got rid of the Barred Rock "pullets" I bought at the end of May....the ones that were actually roosters. I fed those boys all summer and they were quite spoiled. Had to give them away... The recipient said she was keeping them but may have been sparing me.
Anyway I now have a nicely mixed flock and a handsome young Welsummer rooster. Everyone seems so much happier/calmer without the Bully Brigade !
