I emailed Richard at NH Hosta to ask him his opinion on whether or not this Hosta is 'Firn Line'. I feel so much better after Richard has responded... Here is what he told me.

It looks like it is light deprived. Did it arrive bare root?
They probably had it in a cold storage area to try and keep it dormant.
I would keep it away from direct sunlight at the beginning. Plant it in a container and keep it in a filtered light area until the colors come back to the plant.
Only after it gets its colors back can we determine what hosta it is.
