Blooms not opening well! Might be the weather Glen. My TUSCAWILLA TRANQUILITY had 2 blooms today but one did not open properly. But the other bloom is a bit bigger than the earlier ones. Also less of a pronounced yellow and more a light lemon with a greenish hue.

However MAGNIFICENT HUMMINGBIRD still looks pretty insignificant to me. Stoked with water and in hte shade it opened well but the eye is not striking, and the petal colour is a bland mid pink. I am lucky it was a gift as it is disappointing so far.
The photo is not good. I took several as the wind kept blowing it out of the viewfinder.

Neither daylily came near the vibrancy of La. Iris Volcanic Wildfire, which is a bit more orange and brown than the pic. Hope it is still blooming when the buds on the daylilies come out. It will at last look like I have a garden and not just clay with plants poked in it.
