I echo all Rick's remarks about SunGold, and add that a large percentage will split after a heavy rain. I got in the habit of picking them when only partially ripe if rain threatened--they ripened by themselves. P.S. The local chipmunks also loved them, but it got a little irritating when they took them up to the front porch to eat!
