Yes, I heard the Mayor call for the beaches evacuation about 11:30 this morning. Hoping that everyone heeds the order! Sure looks like a nasty piece of work headed this way!
We are good (I hope) where we are.
I live just off of the Cedar River, but it hasn't ever reached this high.
At this point I'm more concerned with wind damage. I'll be spending this evening, and the morning, moving a lot of the "flyable's". We've been here 37 years, and have never flooded.

Well, Asheville's high and dry! My neighbor was vacationing up there this week. I've been feeding their menagerie. Three dogs, and three cats.
They were going to stay until Saturday, but they're coming back in this afternoon.
for me! Hate to be responsible for someone else's property, and pets, in the middle of what could end up being quite a disaster.
