Yep ... it's all about the ratings and of course the $$$$$$$$.

My husband just asked me if I knew what the storm was doing and I told him no that I had not been watching the news. Matthew is a very large and tentatively dangerous storm but there's nothing we can do to make him go a certain way. All we can do is prep our homes and belongings the best we can and be prepared to lose power for however long and have supplies on hand and hope for the best.

I't's a shame about the news folks and all the hype because they really scare some of the young kids as well as the elderly. My mom used to be glued to the t.v. during stuff like this which was not good.
