Around 54 again this morning, heavy fog in the valley kept us overcast until noon when the sun finally came out. Temp went up to 66. Planning a drive out to Quechee tomorrow to see if the leaves at the gorge have changed yet and a stop at the Cabot store to stock up on cheese. The cooler weather has me craving homemade mac and cheese to go with burgers on the grill. Killington is a little further out and might provide more opportunities to catch foliage shots...

Yum, raspberries. The apple orchards are all starting to open for picking. We have a few trees, a dwarf 'Liberty' on the front lawn and a few misc. varieties in the pasture out back. Thinking I'll pick and make apple jelly this year, then freeze some applesauce like last year.

Rita, the latest weather I've seen is showing the hurricane hugging the coast to N. Carolina then going east and back south Blinking It's not suppose to come up this way at all....after saying last night it was going to come up into New England....that is quite a change.

Hey Sally, how'd you get the little degree sign? I've tried the usual alt 248 but it doesn't work.
