I am seeing the local ladies getting into my Hummie feeders. Take a look at how she has her head completely into the "Bee Guard" in the second photo. There's no stopping a woman from getting what she wants, especially if it's to feed her family!!! there were probably 25-30 bees working to get into the two feeders I had here. I was worried that one of them would get hurt in the process so I emptied the Hummer food into a large pan with a handfull of rocks inside to keep anyone from drowning. Within about 10 minutes the pan was full of bees. The whole thing was cleaned out in under two hours...Nothing wasted! Since the Humming Birds have not been around in a while, I cleaned out and stored their feeders to prevent a recurrence.

Up to my elbows in the dirt while being on top of the dirt is a great day!
