Yes the lady there always has defended the cockatoos. I mean they are stunning large birds with presence. However, as she said yesterday, they don't eat them they just destroy them. It is quite weird that is so - but some one said on fb recently that "They do it because it is fun". The couple are going to buy chicken wire this morning to encase their flower bed in it.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
