If your only concern is the white stuff (mealybugs) on the tip of the stems, then you do not need to relocate it, repot it or otherwise change your watering routine. We cannot see most of the plant so it is hard to tell how well it is doing overall.
Treat the mealybugs by mixing 5 parts of water with 1 part alcohol and spraying the entire plant so that all leaf and stem surfaces are dripping wet. If you just treat the ones that are visible, you will miss the translucent juveniles that will later reproduce and the problem will return. One thorough spraying should be sufficient.
