Ibis and Tarev, I started mine in early March and I was able to harvest 10 babies already and more babies are coming. Best result for number of plants can be achieved if you actually cut the canes by sections 2 to 3 nodes each section. It forces those nodes to produce babies. Then some people would keep the cut up canes in a moist (but not soppy wet) spaghnum moss. You can put your set up on the south facing window sill (if growing indoors).

I did not cut up mine so I was only getting one or 2 babies per cane at a time instead of the canes producing multiple babies. Also I kept my canes outside as I was trying to mimic what they normally do in the wild one the branches get separated or cut off from the main plant.
