Old is when you're sitting next to your sister-in-law at church and after the service she asks if you're ready for all of the sweets that afternoon. I respond with what sweets? She responds with the desserts. I respond with what desserts? And she reminds me that we have my mother-in-law's birthday celebration with the whole family that afternoon at my other brother and sister-in-law's house All I could think of was darn - I wanted to work outside all afternoon on a beautiful day and plant the rest of my bulbs, etc. since I am leaving for Northern Kentucky this week to stay with my daughter's family and spoil my grandchildren Also knowing that once you get over there everyone would be INSIDE on a gorgeous day and no way to escape to the outside So I compromised - went home and quickly planted my remaining bulbs and then went to the celebration and sure enough - sat inside all afternoon I told my DH I gave one for the team
