I tried Googling
vinca seed pods and
what do vinca seeds look like and
what do vinca pods look like

The Google Images were as helpful as any of the articles I scanned.

Alana said it more clearly than those articles:
"slender, cigar shaped cylinders " under the blossoms.

One article claimed that the Vinca bloom petals would DROP before the pod opened, but I don't know about that.
