Anyone have a clue? Another of my "chicken ate my plant label" fiascos.
One is Stachytarpheta jamaicensis, the other is supposed to be S. cayennensis. I've grown the former before, but not cayennensis, which is from purchased seeds. With both labels gone and the second one succumbing to the drought, I can't tell which is which. I'm beginning to wonder if they are the same. Both were in poor soil and did not grow more than 18-20 inches tall. The flowers on the first one seem oh so slightly larger and darker than the second photo.
