Hi laurie54
We grow [2] 100' rows of potatoes. My favorite crop because of the fantastic flavor over store bought.
We rotate our rows every year and do not replant same area for 4 years. Other crops will go there, but not tomatoes, peppers or eggplant. This garden layout history is something that needs to be recorded and referred to when planning for each new year. Try different potato varieties, you may find some are resistant to your problem.
best of luck !
