AnnaZ said:Rita, since the SU are "aging"............our metabolism is certainly not what it used to be. I'm sure that is a huge part of why I find it extremely difficult to lose and keep weight off. And that is why I have had to resort to some programs that can help with the metabolism problem. Add to that the hormonal imbalance of my age and it is a double whammy. I really would like to compete again, if I could just shed at LEAST 40 pounds.

Yes, it is much more difficult as one ages. And also harder to build muscles.

I am not looking at being super slim as I was in my younger days. I am actually not at a bad weight now but it is easy to go up and I don't want to go up from here. So that 5 pounds must come off.

I couldn't do the weight loss programs I have seen you post. They sure are effective for you but I couldn't keep to those diets.
