If you mean why do daylilies show up more as featured plants etc it is a result of people giving them a thumbs up usually. The system is designed to compare the number of thumbs up which then indicate popularity.

If you want to see more true lilium featured then give them thumbs ups!!

This issue came up on the Sempervivum forum and once we started giving more thumbs to our favorites they started to appear in the newsletter as popular plants.

Trust me though, it is not easy to displace dayliles as they are so popular it is not unusual for people to pay hundreds of dollars for single or double fans!
