Saturday dawned clear and chilly; low thirties. For some reason, even though temperatures rose into the sixties, bees remained absent from the backyard. Sad So, I checked for activity around the old hot tub which now houses a wasp nest. They are always active. Moving in a bit closer than I usually do, I grabbed a few shots, before retreating to a more comfortable distance.
