How wonderful. Meeting them must have been so exciting! I have one of the roses Ludwig's daughter hybridized, Naughty Nude, but it hasn't really wowed me yet. I ordered it from Ludwig's and planted it in February, but it produced only one bloom all year, and that one was a typically unexciting maiden bloom. I hope it does better next year.
Oregon is a much better place to grow roses. I hope Ludwig's does move there.
