Yes Bev, Isn't it nice to be 39???

Sorry I've been absent from comments. Am working on a concerto non-stop except for the few moments I rush into the yard to do some work. Got the bearded iris seeds planted this morning before the rains hit in the PM.

EIGHT SHOPPING BAGS full of seed heads of semps. That's going to be a LOT of seedlings come spring.

I am growing more and more fond of the heuffs. When I was starting, we had three, all pretty much green. Now I have hundreds of red and purple seedlings each year, most that I pitch. Pulled out two the other day that are great grandchildren of 'Giuseppi Spiny' and one is dark red and one is dark purple with almost yellow spines as tips. GS is rather small but these are big so the effect is more dramatic.

Back to practicing...

Kevin
