Be careful what you plant, kids! There were lots of Spanish Needles and I even saw some Wild Lime! So plenty of natives. But our boat captain did discuss invasives like the Australian Pine. Also, I didn't get a picture because it was fast, but I think I saw a small iguana! I described it to the captain and he agreed. It certainly wasn't one of our anoles! The captain gave a nice talk about exotic, invasive plants and animals and told us about how he took part in the python hunt in the Everglades this year. It's nice to meet other people that are out there trying to make a difference.
