Yes... 'Bros' rocks. It seems to have a hue that is shifted closer to true red than most of the others that tend to be maroon or brownish. And when the candy-apple green comes out in the center... sweeeeeet!!!
Excellent sunny weather today. I was gonna take a walk but no way I'm leaving my garden on a clear, windless, mild morning like we had today. Maybe the best day we'll see for another 6 months.
I've had my thumb in the way of pictures from time to time, but today was the first time I got my toes in.
I'll sneak in a few Sedums. 'Tricolor' I got from Lynn and it is living up to expectations. There's also 'Elizabeth', 'Coral Reef' and 'John Creech". They appear to be poised for explosive growth come Spring. I don't raise them up or provide gravel mulch. I hope they will be a living mulch on their own.
Oh yeah... the green one on the end will be featured as the November 4 site banner. But they rejected my rock garden panorama shot.
'Diavalo' 'Andrenor' and the transitioning 'Pacific Knight'
'Lemon Sky' - quite slow growing for me but has solid color performance, substance, and is happily dividing. What more could I want?
'Pacific Devils Food' ... again... I know... I know... but ....
When I looked at this I thought it must be getting close to noon. A quick look at my clock confirmed it was indeed 11:45. No jokes. BTW, that's 'Positively Glowing' at the 12 o'clock position. Thanks, Kevin.
