Great pictures. My sister in law, who lived in San Francisco, California told me years ago that she wears her purse strapped over her shoulder, maybe even a metal cord through the strap. With the flap and zipper toward her, not outward. That way it cannot be easily grabbed. But to have someone reach in a car and steal one is way over the top. How awful. To say nothing of a terrible disruption of your trip.
