I just found this thread, a bit late! I was sent brug cuttings last year. They were in bad shape due to sitting nearly a week in the post office. I planted them up and they have all survived and grown well in the greenhouse. One is about 4 ft tall. None have made a Y. Do you pinch them or do they do it naturally? I also planted one outdoors at our arizona place. It is doing very well so far, but probably will get killed by frost. I was surprised that a cutting could bloom in a year! I just hope mine will bloom next year.
