Yes Carsten I had flowers. I put my lights on a timer from 7AM to 8PM

You can also use the small clip on lamps with a fluorescent bulb and clip it right near the plant. I did that also and saw flowers within 3 months. I think they sell them as heat lamps, you can get them at home Depot or Lowe's cheap.
