Yes, I mostly grow flowers, tons of beautiful ones. I do grow my own tomatoes and herbs. I have grown a few other veggies, like carrots and beets. But home grown tomatoes are the one veggie that just tastes so much better to me than store bought. I'd just as soon buy the rest of my veggies.

I generally grow my tomatoes, and flowers, from seeds, because that way I get a much, much better selection. And some I've grown from cuttings and layering.

Last winter we spent 5 weeks in Florida, and then we both had health issues to deal with when we got home. As a result, I didn't start anything from seed and had to buy all plants for the first time in many years. Disappointing.
