Good morning, I am new here and hopefully this isn't a stupid question but we stumbled upon a strange plant on our new property I have been unable to ID
The round smooth "pod" for lack of a better term is about 2.5-3" in diameter and seems to be filled with a ver fine powder, almost spore like and dark green
They appear to grown on a bush of some sort and once the fall the seem to almost root themselves in the soil and always seem hole up
They are super soft and disturbing them at all seems to cause a release of the powder inside
