Good morning. Currently 55F with some wind and sun breaking through clouds that gave us light rain overnight. Heading to only 57F today and 41F tonight. Silly electronic devices - clocks - automatically changing for daylight savings time this morning - the old schedule. Woke up at what I thought was 6:30 and thought it was awfully light outside. Turns out it was really 7:30.
Jim - the Dutch baby is only as sweet as what you put on it since no sugar goes into the batter. And a little lemon curd goes a long way. My family is very keen on lemon anything and it really brightens up winter days.
Ginny - nice pics! What a treat at this time of year.
Sally - I start Dahlia seeds early indoors. They're not ready to start blooming until June (depending on weather). More reliable than "iffy" tuber storage over winter for me.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we can't eat money. Cree proverb
