In my area, the Spider plants ably handles our heat waves, as long as I water often. But I did lose one container last summer, while we were away for more than a month in late June. That container is the first to get the intense direct sun, while the others were safely shadowed by the foliage of our city trees, so I guess that helped the rest of the spiders to survive.

Fall season is fun for them, comfy cool temps with on and off rains. So they are perking up nicely and gives me a chance to move the new little ones.
