First you use a 3'' auger and auger a hiole about 6' deep if possible. then you hav a 4' preforated pipe lines with screen. Add another 6'' pipe to it nand set it in the hole. Now you pound it into the ground. It takes a while. as you gt down you add another pipe and repeat. We are down 22'. We go thru dirt, clay, sandy clay and sugar sand which is really fine white sand, and then we hit water.
It was nice yesterday late in the afternoon so I finished cutting back flowers.
We can use a pitcher pump or an electric pump. He melted and bent a PCV pipe to slip over the handle. It's much more user friendly than the thin handle. Looks strange, but it sure is nice, lol! It's hard to see the handle in the last picture, and it looks too big to hang onto, but it isn't.
