Lone coneflower bloom drew attention yesterday.

This little Sleepy Orange was enjoying a sip....

when a possible suitor came along. He put on quite a display, which the lady chose to ignore.

Then a pair of Gulf Frits showed up,

but the little sulphur held its ground. Guess it never heard the saying that "three's a crowd".
