I was wondering whether to enter my photo into the Database, and then spotted this thread. Thank you 'ViolaAnn' from Ottawa, for the invitation to add a photo here, since mine doesn't display much of Revolution, but tells a story.

In about 2003, I bought the Hosta Revolution, but by 2006, some other leaves appeared - a sport. I was intrigued and liked those leaves too, so I watched to see what would happen. By 2008, there was only one original leaf left, and I meant to divide the plant, to save the original Revolution, which had streaks of green on the pale centers, which I admired. But for the next three years, I was moving about 1,000 plants to our new property, and commuting daily to try to save as many of my collection of plants that I could. In that time, all of the original Hosta was swallowed up by the sport, so I lost it.

Thumb of 2016-11-03/HemNorth/50f1d3 Thumb of 2016-11-03/HemNorth/b8f03a A warning goes out to all those who want to save their original plants, that sports can be serious robbers. Divide and save, or the sport may conquer!
