I’m have an issue with a fig tree dying, it might be related to the loquats (see thread here: The thread "Loquats dying in places" in Trees and Shrubs forum ) but it has some other aspects the loquats didn’t as far as I could tell. The fig has lots of small holes in it and I did see an ant like bug on it but couldn’t get a photo because it was running around so frantically. Sorry I dont have better photos on the living to dead connecting, I had already cut out the dead when I thought of taking the pictures. There is also a close up of one of the dead sections that shows some tiny black spikes, pretty sure that’s related to what’s killing it.

the very first photo is from the loquat, shows a weblike structure. there used to be a lot of this in the fig tree but not currently since the dear and weather have removed the majority of its leaves.
