You might try putting a brick or a block near your newly planted seedlings if they are still small to keep them from hooving up
out of the ground through the winter. If they come up out of the ground and get frozen you will probably lose them. I planted
a bunch a few years ago late in September and lost almost every one, because the soil didn't settle and the roots didn't have
time to anchor the plant before winter. Be sure to pack the soil tightly when planting this late.
